Baja California Sur

From Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico, you can visit the islands that rise out of the deep turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez. The Parque Nacional Bahía de Loreto, a protected environment & relatively pristine marine ecosystem, is home to an exceptionally high biological diversity, especially of marine mammals. Another highpoint is taking a windy scenic road through mountains and canyons to the San Javier Mission Loreto.
